Agamemnon, The stubborn king.

Chryseis, Daughter of Chryses, Begged Agamemnon Commander-in-chief of the Achaean army, to bring back her daughter, The stubborn king refused the offer of a huge ransom. Chryses, knowing not what to do,  Prayed to Apollo. Apollo then threatened Agamemnon for the return of Chryses daughter, Chryseis. Apollo stroked a plague on the greek's camp, which made a lot of Achaean men to suffer and die. When they knew about what the root cause of this plague was, Agamemnon came in rage at the greek camp, and stubbornly, told Achilles, that he would only give up Chryseis if Achilles would give Briseis to Agamemnon. Thus starting the quarrel of Achilles and Agamemnon over birseis.

Agamemnon's stubbornness lead to a disastrous quarrel.

A lot of people are stubborn in todays generation.
A man who lost his career as a police officer, would stubbornly, take hostage a bunch of foreigners in a bus to get his job back.
A stubborn political personality, would bribe kids to just be on his political ad, and endorse him as a political leader.
A stubborn Government official, would spend gregariously an amount of money, just to impress other government officials over a fancy dinner.

These are just examples, there are many more stubborn people who result to bad decisions.
I advice you, my fellow reader, that being stubborn could get you into something, that you do not wish to be a part of. so before anything, always think.

Signing off, Paolo Cordero.
